Urei 813's - these don't need much of an introduction. 101db at a watt - this is high efficiency at it's best (with a fairly linear FR). Can't be had in a mini monitor - sorry. If you want details please do a search online or see the link above. The units I have are in fairly good condition - the bottoms are scratched up but otherwise they are in quite nice shape. Just to be clear - the bottom's are most likely going to be facing up in most setups so that the coax is on the top. The woofers were refoamed a few years ago. The coax LF drivers are PAS, HF is a JBL. Construction on these cabinets is really impressive - thick front baffles and lots of bracing. I've had a few pairs of vintage Tannoy's as well - their presentation is very different but I would not say that either is the superior of the other. The Urei's are more forward and simply sound bigger - I guess having a second 15" makes quite a bit of difference. Reason for selling is simply too many large speakers... Pick up and cash only of course (shipping would be prohibitive most likely). Please reply with your phone number - questions of availability will be soundly ignored - if it's listed it's available. The pics show the actual units. The booze on top of the speakers is not included in the sale - it's only the speakers for the $1395 US. Am interested in trades of vintage equipment (see list below). Location is West Harlem, New York City. Paypal is plus 4 percent to cover their fees. If you're paying with paypal and picking up I will not part with the speakers until the money has actually hit my bank account and cleared. Sorry, bad experiences over the years...
