Alon V Loudspeaker SystemThe Alon V mkIII loudspeaker system with original boxes and manual. Nice overall condition, no tears in fabric but could use a slight cleaning. The high gloss base and top caps have some slight delamination (plastic caps over MDF structure) which doesn't show much at all and can be reglued or just touched-up. Really it's not even noticeable without close inspection, but they are not absolutely as new. The woofers have been professionally refoamed and go down to 23hz. Very nice sound and build product. Made in the USA by Alon / Acarian Systems in Nesconset New York. These are the latest versions and are second from the top of the line model Circe. They outperform the Alon II and the Lotus by being cleaner, more effortless and sweet sounding, and by going significantly deeper in bass response. AlNiCo midrange and larger, more stable bass enclosure for 10" woofer. Both the mid and tweeter are open baffle and di-pole designs for lowest coloration, ie no cabinet resonances or internal reflections. 8 ohm nominal / 4 ohm minimum load 23hz - 25khz frequency response 87db sensitivity Tri-wire posts, internal crossover (premium jumpers included) 10" long throw woofer, sealed enclosure 5 1/4" cast frame AlNiCo dipole midrange 1" aluminum dipole dome tweeter 52" H x 12" W x 15" D 120 lbs. each Local pick-up only.
