For your consideration is the last and ultimate best Luxman-by-Micro Seiki turntable. This very rare belt-driven turntable I bought in Europe about ten years ago for a very hefty price. It has been in my music room for a number of years. Since I alternate turntables in my collection this has low usage and is as clean and new specimen as you could possibly find on this planet. Indeed, this is a dream turntable produced by Luxman in the Golden Age of Vinyl and sounds absolutely superb.

The platter weighs 9.5 kgs and is made of aluminum (top+sides) and brass (base); inertial moment amounts to 1200kg/cm2.

The motor is a DC brush/slot-less FG Servo controlled of the highest quality.

The chassis is made of six c. 1cm thick steel plates bonded together; two-tier separate arm bases were offered in either die-cast aluminum or brass.

According to the site The Vintage Knob (see: http://www.thevintageknob.org/luxman-PD-350.html ) only 350 specimens were made throughout the world. To my way of thinking no U.S. Version came here only 220 Volt and 100 Volt Japanese version.

This one is a 220-volt European model. I will supply with a suitable Step-Down transformer to use in 110-Volt U.S.A. for those in the U.S.

It definitely is the best sounding Luxman-MicroSeiki turntable. I used to have PD-555 and this one blows it away.

This beautiful turntable comes with the gorgeous Micro Seiki MA-505 Mk I and original headshell. (Interconnect not included). This arm is one of the best Japanese tonearms with adjustable VTA and tracking force while the record plays.

All ready to play. Moreover, the lucky buyer will have the distinction of using it with a superlative custom mat which is far superior to the original supplied by Lux for using the vacuum pump. This was custom made by none other than the designer of the Versa Dynamics turntable. The mat alone is $250.00 (!) and is made of a secretive material. You will have nothing to worry about vacuum pressure once you use this mat underneath the record.

I will also include a brand new PD-350 belt with the unit. All the vacuum hoses inside were replaced not long ago.

I rate this a 9+ out of 10 in condition. Including a flawless dust cover!
