These Sylvania 6CA7/EL34s are the American version of the European EL34 tubes. They have a fatter bottle than the Mullard EL34 (thus the “Fat Boy” name). All tubes have 3 holes and welded plates. With 2 round, solid, angled getters. All tubes are marked “6CA7 EL34 USA” in grey letter on the glass (see photos). 3 still have the Sylvania logo, one has been rubbed off. All of them had the big, legendary “Fat Boy” sound in my amp.The quad tested: 5300, 5000, 4800m 4800 gm. Tubes were tested on my Hickok 600A gm tester. Measurements are in micromhos.
