Emotive Audio Epifania Pre AmpThis is Fred Volz's masterpiece and rarely seen available for sale. This was upgraded and serviced by Fred Volz 2016. This unit is loaded with VCaps, Blackgates and the highest end Khozmo attenuator, all installed by Fred. It has two active outs which I swapped one of the RCA sets to silver Audio Note as you can see in the pictures. You can use either one or both simultaneously. I have all the email correspondence between Fred and myself, which will describe the scope of this work along with costs. This unit retailed for $17,000 new and punches at the top of the Shindo and Audio Note lines. I would describe the sound as a bit more linear than Shindo and a little sweeter than Audio Note. The cosmetic condition is very good but not perfect. Small little scuffs that could probably be buffed and oiled out but I leave that to the next owner. The pictures tell the story. Consider the tubes a gift with no guarantees. I would guess the existing tubes will give you many hours of use. Nothing expensive or rare here.
