The Mad Scientist NEO Power Cords2 of the Mad Scientists top of the line NEO power cords in standard length 4 feet long each. Mad Scientist sells these for $399 each. Some of the plastic insulation has been removed as recommended by the Mad Scientist to enhance the openness of the soundstage.
But don't worry all of the wire is fully insulated. The NEO Power Cords use specially sourced 11AWG high quality OFC copper wire with wound Teflon insulation. Standard cord is approximately 1.2 meters (4 feet). The NEO use a layer of cotton over the conductors, for both enhanced dielectric properties and damping. And unlike most power cords, the NEO is completely hand-built - the way the wires are wound is unique as far as I know, balancing electrical and mechanical effects with noise-cancellation as the aim.
