The Power Plant has a few little marks here and there and the screen has some scratches on it. Please see Pictures. Remote and Rack Ears are New. Functionality:
Here is the issue... When plugged into a circuit that has an arc fault protection, the breaker trips. When it is plugged into a circuit that has a normal breaker it does not trip the breaker. When you turn it on, there is a hum and the cooling fans turn on, that lasts about 10 seconds. After that it appears to be working fine. The display shows incoming and outgoing voltage and the difference and the THD is displayed and the outgoing THD is about 10% of the incoming THD, which is good. PS Audio has a flat fee of $500 to repair the PPP and gives you a year warranty on the repair. The PPP has a $1500 trade in value on the Power Plant 12, $2199 on the Power Plant 15 and 10.
