What happens when you take a phono preamp that blows anything at it's price point out of the water AND add a vastly better power supply? You get a phono preamp that I really don't want to sell, but I have too much stuff laying around doing nothing, and so this has to go. It's taken a Jeff Rowland Cadence with battery power supply as well as a BAT VK-P10SE to make me let go of this set-up.As you can see in the pics, the phono preamp is in good condition. The Audio Fidelity power supply has some small marks at the top of the chassis, but considering the price, and performance upgrade it brings to the table, it hardly really matters. And make no mistake, the low frequency reproduction of this already excellent phono preamp is made world class by the AF power supply. There are reviews on line you can find. The dead quiet background of the ECP-1 really is as good as they say. I've driven this set up with the Denon DL-103D, Benz Micro ACE LOMC, Fidelity Research FR1-MKIIIF, Ortofon Royal N SPU, Cardas Myrtle Heart and Lyra Delos. Gain was never an issue. Transparency is assured. Units will be boxed and shipped properly. Shipping is paid for by the buyer.
