Doing some Spring cleaning and selling off some great sounding classic high end phono cartridges. This Ortofon OM40 Gold seems to be in nice condition. Comes with velvet lined mahogany box that is in great shape. Test results, stylus tracking force gauge, small screwdriver, and stylus cleaning brush also included. Some consider this Ortofon’s finest MM cartridge. The stylus is sharp and the cantilever is straight. The Fritz Gyger stylus tip is one of the best ever produced IMO. It is able to produce highly resolving inner detail from your favorite recordings. An all-time classic and replacement styli are available. This is an old cartridge so it will be sold as-is with no warranty implied and no returns accepted.
