Redgum is my favorite solid state brand, so musical, powerful and liquid with detail and excellent control of the bass. I bought the RGi 175 ENR mono blocks so this great sounding unit is available and will make someone very happy. The RGi60 ENR is a 75 wpc channel integrated although it is much more powerful and this unit was tested to reach a continuous 108 wpc at 8 ohms. Redgum makes my favorite solid state amps and I moved up to the much more expensive RGi 175ENR so this integrated is available or else I would not sell this fantastic piece of gear. The designer, Ian Robinson, used to repair amps before he started Redgum and after seeing so many bipolar output devices fail he went with Mosfets for their reliability and sound quality. The mosfets Redgum uses are the same ones that Australian ultra high end brand Halcro uses on their amps. Dr. John Richardson in his Stereomojo review of an all Redgum system stated about the Redgum RGi60ENR "They seem to strike the balance between detailed resolution and musicality".Redgum is now distributed in the USA by Colleen Cardas Imports and if you search the forums you will find very positive feedback from those who have heard these Australian gems. Please check my Audiogon feedback under Guppy. Thank you for reading my ad.
