These boards are the actual infamous Loesch preamp circuit boards. Buy your own components and you are off to making one of the finest phono preamps ever designed. You will also need your own chassis of choice which I carry as well but they are a bit on the expensive side. The board also has a circuit for a power supply but I never used it. I always built my own using my own ideas and that of another inmate that I highly trust. There are many ways to build the power supply but I would highly recommend a dual/mono design on its own chassis to isolate the power supply from the signal circuit. One massive power transformer either splitting the circuit after the rectifier or at the preamp circuit itself. I did use totally separate power supplies and much preferred a single power source and splitting the supply after the rectifier. I also built it using two chokes for each channel. The power supply section of the board can be snapped off to make the board fit a chassis easier. The board can also be made into two separate preamps if need be. There is a lot of versatility in this design. I can also aid you in the building of the preamp and there is a full drawing on component placement. Depending on your skills, it is a very easy to follow drawing with only the need of a soldering iron and the skills to use one. The power supply is another issue and electrical design skill is a must. These boards are brand new. Extra skills are needed if you are to choose using the 5687 tube as a final tube(some traces have to be rerouted for the filament supply to the tube). All in all, it is a very easy project.
