Up for sale is an Audiopax Stereo 88 Tube Power Amp.It works as it should and looks real nice too.
The left wood sidepanel has a chip in the front edge and 2 chips/cracks in the back edge.
Good news is that I have 2 new side panels, just didn't find the time to put them on.
So, basically it is a perfect looking amp... The wood crate it comes in needed a few small repairs, but is still perfect to ship the amp in.
The crate will go inside another box for extra protection. The tubes are 'Winged C' KT88's and RCA (5 star) 12AT7 which make a sweet sounding set.
This is one of the best sounding amps I have heard and owned. Natural, yet detailed and an accurate sound stage.
With the 'Timber Lock' adjustments you can play around to fine tune the amp to suit your sound preference. Unfortunately I don't use it enough to justify keeping it...
