$640 with Herbies Tall Tenderfeet. $595 without.

Excellent condition, original owner. Remarkable sound and power for the money.

I built this from a Class D Audio kit. I have five decades of experience in the design, construction and servicing of home and pro audio gear. I went all out on this one adding every type of modification that has proven effective for me in previous projects. These mods include:

Increased the six power supply capacitors from 4700uf to 8200uf. This is the main component of the $100 power supply upgrade option that Class D Audio now provides.

The power transformer floats on two thick layers of Mortite putty, long used by audiophiles for it’s excellent dampening characteristics. This mechanically isolates the power transformer from the rest of the chassis and components. As you can see in the attached pictures, I’ve installed the large center bolt for shipping purposes. When you get the amp, remove the top cover and remove the center bolt. Save the bolt if you want to move or ship the amp at a later date. With that said, the Mortite sandwich secures the transformer pretty snuggly.

All surfaces of the chassis interior (top, bottom, sides) are covered with EAR IsoDamp to provide further dampening.

Expensive, high quality Vampire RCA jacks (the bottom pair) for your input signal. The top pair are cheap generics for cosmetic purposes (not connected to signal input). They are grounded if you want to attach a biased ground tweak like I do for all my components.

I used the rare and highly regarded Western Electric 16 gauge wire for all connections; input, output and power.

Since these Class D amps should be left on all the time for best sound quality (very low idle current), I bypassed the power switch for better sound quality.

Expensive audiophile Hi-Fi Tuning fuse.

Over the years, I’ve found that carbon fiber pucks coupled with Herbies Audio Labs tall Tenderfoot isolation footers to function better than many more expensive component isolation systems. See pictures. No special isolation stands or racks required.

The gain adjustment pots are hardwired to the audio board with solid core silver wire in teflon jackets (see pictures).

High quality audiophile speaker binding posts.

All soldered connections made using Cardas Quad Eutectic solder.
