One pair of classic 3-way JBL speakers. These were the next ones to come out after the L100 monitors that everyone remembers so fondly. They were said at the time to sound better due to the re-designed and improved tweeter. These were made for the home and not the recording studio and have a nicer grill. Mine are in very good condition and the woofers had new surrounds installed by a factory authorized service center about 6 or 7 years ago. The only “flaw” is from a fingerrpint on the aluminum plate around the tweeter on one speaker. The fingerprint etched into the plate and was polished away. The fingerprint is gone but the polish left a spot on the plate. It is not as visible in person as it showed-up with a flash picture and does not affect the function of the tweeter in any way; I am conservatively rating these as 8/10 but they are really in "Excellent (9/10)" condition. Please review the photos. These speakers sound just as good now as they did then, perhaps even better because of the much higher quality electronics made today than those of the late 70's. As each speaker easily weighs +50#s, I am not interested in shipping at this time. I will meet someone in a 150 mile radius of Raleigh for pick up. I may have the original manual but will need to look for it. Reason for sale is that I have 6 (or is it 7?) pairs of speakers & simply just don't have room for these anymore...
