For sale is a TD125 MK 1 with Basis RB300 arm and Ortofon VMS20 cartridge. Willing to sell without arm.The table is in very good cosmetic and operational condition. A new belt has been installed. There is some noise coming from the motor/belt at startup, but the table comes up to steady and correct speed in under ten seconds. Strobe and speed adjustment work with no issues. The only tweaking done on this table was to replace the bottom plate with 3/4" mdf with black edge veneer. The arm is an OEM version of the Rega RB-300 with the Basis badge. It has a metal sleeve glued on the threads. The arm board is custom made to accommodate the mounting of this arm. The hole in the armboard is a very snug fit for the arm, and probably wouldn't need anything additional, but there is a set screw that holds the arm firmly in place. This arrangement allows for easy VTA adjustment. The arm has some paint missing by the arm rest, and by the headshell. The tonearm leads from the table to the rca's are two feet long - make sure this is long enough for your setup. The arm has been rewired with bullet rca's and Cardas clips using cardas 4x33 in a continuous run. The arm works perfectly and sounds great on the table. I used this table and arm in my main system for two years, and felt it maintained the strengths of the Rega P3 2000, while adding bass impact. The cartridge is an Ortofon VMS20 with low hours after market replacement. I purchased the replacement not realizing it was not an Ortofon original, but it sounds very good and tracks great too.
