Hi all,Once again I’ve several items which were purchased 6 months ago | yet seemingly as is the case from time to time, I tend to purchase the same items twice | with the exception being banana plugs, where I like to sample different plating materials, and have about 7 different sets of 8 just laying around to when I’ve time to re-terminate speaker cables. But today we’re talking about a nicely made AC Receptacle | it’s stablemate AC Outlet Cover, I’d much rather sell these together | yet would be willing to sell them separately if asked nicely | my prices are meant?, I do believe in offering fair discounts, so please don’t be the type of person whom expects me to give them away near free…, as it isn’t going to happen. Said WPC-Z is a duplex ac wall cover constructed of an aluminum frame | carbon fiber faceplate, where both are renowned for the resonance controlling abilities | deaden the sound of any sort of airborne EMI | RFI based grounding noise as heard through one’s system if not addressed properly…, all to often I hear guys ( the audiophile types | we all know them right? ) whom states, I’ve 2 dedicated circuits for my stereo system, yet fail to realize in some cases they’re still using someone 50 cent wall receptacle | plastic cover, not realizing said cheap items bring about noise without the reproduction of the music itself…., which they aren’t aware of exist, until they’ve actually taken the time to replace these cheap items, and then all of a sudden it’s as if the skies opened up, as they’re hearing each note within its own little envelope for the very first time…, it amazes me how many aren’t aware off said possibilities. I purchased both of these items through the Cable Company at their retail prices of $265 for the WPC-Z Aluminum | Carbon Fiber Cover | $151 for the RO Unplated Beryllium Copper 20A Receptacle, yet my combined asking price for both is $220. And while I’m aware both might be found on Amazon cheaper, I’d ask is there away of knowing these are authentic?, just saying…., there’s always the chance you’re buying an unauthorized version of many items these days. When in fact as stated by Oyaide itself, as it relates to the R0: The Oyaide R-0 receptacle / outlet has a High Quality Beryllium Copper base material, unplated. 20 AMP rating. The naked receptacle! No plating, just high quality bare copper. With the introduction of the R1, the category of wall outlet / receptacles may now be said to have reached the stage of true maturity. Contacts are made of beryllium copper which had previously proven its superiority in the ultra high performance Oyaide M1/F1. The importance of high quality power supply connections is now widely accepted. Many enthusiasts install dedicated power lines for their hi-fi and home theater systems and no longer question the importance of the quality of a receptacle fitted to the wall. Conventional "hospital grade" connectors can improve the strength of the mechanical connection, but are far from ideal for realizing the best sound quality. The Oyaide objective was to develop receptacles whose sole purpose was to deliver the highest sound quality possible. Every part has been designed with this in mind. Extensive research into the effects of plating methods has yielded three equally valid but different types of sound for you to choose from. The 1.5mm thick gold mounting frame has high strength and protects against feedback of unnecessary vibrations from the wall. The housing of the R-0 made with the ultimate in design and materials. All screws are made of stainless steel. Due to its high rigidity, there is no problem such as a screw head rounded off. The maximum cable size is 5.5sq. inches. Thorough testing, the cable has never separated from the plug by a force less than 30kg. Chassis is Highly rigid Glass filler, Polybutylene terephthalate for resonance control To complete the R-0, the the material which was punched out as a part is polished by hand, piece by piece after machine barrel-polishing. The contact of the R0 is made of beryllium copper, same as the R1 and F1/M1 series using a new and high level of performance. The use of heat treated beryllium copper insures mechanical integrity and high conductivity. It is 1.0mm thick and 6.0mm in wide, reducing vibration at the point of contact with no loss of signal transmission. MWA-EC features: Just push it in the receptable hole which is not used. Easily detached by grabbing the grip. The material of the body is polypropylene which damps tiny vibrations of the contacts. The cover cap prevents troubles caused by dust. So I’m asking you….., is there someone viewing this ad, that can in all honesty say you can’t use this tandem somewhere within the confines of your system, as a means of making it sound better?, as the saying goes the prove is in the listening | I’d ask you at the very least understand what’s possible | reach out to me. If sold separately?, which I once again would prefer to sell them together | would be like: $120 for the RO | $140 for the WPC-Z…, do take into account neither of them were ever taken for the respective boxes, so are literally brand new.
