This pair of Stax SR-207 earspeakers is in outstanding condition. In my experience as a critical listener, NOTHING beats the clarity, speed, and resolution of head stats. The experience is revelatory. Detail is phenomenal. The swell and decay of voices and instruments catch your attention. Bass is authentic. There is no “treble etch” nonsense. They excel regardless of the genre. The soundstage is astounding. Please be aware that these earspeakers will ONLY work with an amp that has a Stax Pro Bias jack. Be also aware that this sale is for the stats, ONLY. While the interior shipping box lists a system, the amplifier that came with the stats burned-out. Stax amps are available on eBay, which is where I found my replacement amp. I’m selling to fund more electrostatic fun. These have been replaced by an upper tier pair of Stax.
