I used it with the Cardas spades at one end and bare wire at the other. The bananas were added when they were loaned to a friend. Changing the termination at that end would be easy if you choose. The only imperfection is a small nick in the positive cable near one of the spades. Current pricing for T-14 bulk cable seems to be around $9/foot.
