When paired with the Budgie phono preamp, you'll have one of the best phono setups possible, with effortless load matching for any cart made. This new SUT has two gain settings and a ground lift switch for maximum flexibility. Just use MC HI (1:20 ratio) for medium output moving coil carts (0.25mV or higher) like the Denon DL-103, and MC LO (1:40 ratio) for low output moving coil carts (less than 0.25mV). This will work well with any moving magnet RIAA preamp for a sound quality that is hard to beat using traditional active circuits that require much more attention to load settings due to peaking and clipping distortion.
