Offered this great Rek-O-kut 'Idler Drive'..fully reconditioned with an antique finish (rosewood/birch).. Mass loaded Plinth(60lbs)..all components gone through or upgraded..I correctly mounted a reconditioned
Weather's late model walnut tonearm (superb sound) with removable cartridge mount...also included, with new stylus, an Empire 800P cartridge...
This Table is very quiet,no rumble at all,to hear any Idler noise you have to put your ear right on top of the platter & even then it's very very low...
a special damping compound was sprayed to the underside of the platter and mat.
After restoring a great number of Lencos & other Idler Drives,I feel this one Rekokut is close enough to make the grade... Pitch & bass is spot on, the high torque motor makes sure of that....Shipping is about 70lbs..
