Reluctantly up for sale is my Pioneer PL-550. Super clean and a true classic. Near giant killer at a bargain price. For those of you unfamiliar with this classic table, it has almost a 4 lb platter and a very heavy base. Veneered in "real wood-grain veneer". Not my fav, but the sound is fantastic. If you haven't already purchased a VPI, and are on a budget, Then you owe it to yourself to audition this PL-550. This is a full manual setup with black backgrounds and wonderful imaging. I will include the TTeights CNC machined aluminum center weight and "Herbies" tonearm dampner because they truly improve the sound. Also includes an Empire A22ME cart. No point removing them. You are looking at one very well cared for great sounding classic. Super clean with only a couple of small indentations where the surface is pushed in a bit. So small it was hard to capture in the photos. Cover is excellent I will certainly box to near bomb proof specs for safe transit. Although, I would certainly prefer to sell locally. Very conservatively rated for age.
