This tube is a substitute for a 5AR4 rectifier tube. Purchased from Upscale Audio in Sept 2015. It was Cryo'd. I used it in my PS9.9 for a Modwright Sony 5400ES CD/SACD Player. Tube has about 800-1000 hours on it. Definitely seemed to tighten up the bass and added a tad of resolution over the standard TungSol 5AR4. Will pack carefully. FYI - this tube is larger (taller and wider) than a 5AR4. You'll have to be careful that it will fit inside your gear.
