I bought these tubes from a local Audiogon member and tube dealer three years ago as a matched quad when I bought my EL84 based amp. I don't have a tube tester and can't verify their current readings but they sound great. I have used them less than 100 hours. Two are marked El84 and two 6BQ5 but construction looks to be identical with copper supporting rods and identical getters. One tube has a slight sputtering sound when the amp is turned on and is warming up but it is completely quiet in use. They have a wonderful, organic sound but since the amp they were bought for is in my office and is used for casual listening I've used Russian military El84 equivalents almost all the time and have too many pair of EL84s. If they don't work for you send them back and I'll refund your money. Shipping is free to the US.
