For Sale: One pair of HM210CO 8 inch Audax Carbon-fiber woofers, New in box, 8 inch/8 ohm;
As new, A very fine sounding woofer for building a high-e loudspeaker, I am currently running pairs of these Audax woofers with a pair 1" SB beryllium domes, and another very fine sounding loudspeaker system using the Audax gold vapor-deposited Ti domes with these woofers, both which are being powered very nicely by 2a3 amplifiers (3.5watts). (see photos) These are flawless drivers which have not been soldered, and work perfectly. They are very well built, with carbon fiber cones, heavy cast baskets, and can fetch a very deep 35hz. And if you look at the response graph, you can see these drivers roll off in the h/f very politely......if used corectly, they require no inductors, (low pass), and a high-effiency of around 93db. These carbon fiber wooofers sell for $180 each, so my price is very fair.
