I’m selling a pair of the famous Quad ESL 57 electrostatic speakers in great condition. I’m assuming if you clicked on this listing you know what they are. They are consistently in the top legendary audio products in history. They may be the finest ESL produced and arguably have the most accurate midrange of any loudspeaker. They will put to shame most speakers easily. These have been professionally and meticulously restored including; panels rebuilt to spec, rebuilt power supplies, upgraded binding posts, repainted metal grilles, upgraded power cords, protection circuits added to prevent over driving, and custom mounting pedestals. Some people use a subwoofer but is not necessary. Tube amps work best but some solid state amps also do well. You can read info on these on the internet for days!
Serial numbers are 44993, 45066, thus later production runs.
These are hooked up and ready to audition. I cannot and will not ship. Serious inquiries please. I’m only selling as we are moving and I would rather not risk damage in transporting. I’d be happy to answer any questions about these. Thanks for looking!
