Refurbished by Magnepan years back after an amp malfunction. Used only 1-2x per week after that, minimally in last 5 years and not in last year, and only in high rise apartment where I couldn't play them loud even if I wanted to. Note these have the often used tweeter attenuator and fuse bypass, professionally done. Very nice improvement and never a problem. To reverse if desired, I am including a new Magnepan supplied kit which Magnepan, after reviewing pics, said is "relatively easy" to implement, with light soldering, basically to re-attach 2 cables.
