The Vienna Acoustics Waltz Grand is an all purpose, full-range wall mount speaker that provides a rich tonal balance with surprising dynamics and detail. Just 3.5†thick (5†including all mounting hardware), they make an amazing amount of bass for the size of cabinet due to an innovative circuit employed as a bass tuning element in the crossover. They can be turned sideways and placed on top of a television to create a great center channel, hung vertically on the walls as main speakers or surrounds, or placed horizontally in bookshelves. All hardware, including mounting brackets that allow flat or toe-in placement, banana input plugs and security lock down bolts are included.It is difficult to find wall hanging loudspeakers with such finely finished wood cabinets, and with a frequency response down to 70Hz and 91dB/W/m sensitivity the Waltz's are compatible with almost any amplifier. I bought these speakers from a retailer/home theater installer who had them mounted in his showroom. Unfortunately when they took them down they nicked up the speakers, mostly on the backs where you can’t see it. I have tried to show the nicks in the pictures. The fronts look good (a couple of minor scratches and the speakers are functionally perfect). They also snapped off the custom banana plugs in one set of the connection holes, but since the plugs can be inserted on either side (as shown in the stock picture), this is not an issue (the distributor sent me 4 new banana plugs).
