How about some high end sound at a budget price? Energy still makes some good speakers, but I think they made some great mid "priced" speakers years back. I listened to just about everything in the store under 5 bills and this was the best of the bunch back in the day. These are excellent speakers and will likely exceed anything at two or three times the price. I actually just changed amplifiers and out of curiosity I hooked these up, again. I am amazed at the power and size of soundstage these produce. The bass is quite strong for a speaker of this size and the speaker can actually crank way better than I expected. I mean it, these things can rock, maybe not to "11," but perhaps to "8." I simply have too many speakers, so something has to go. I'm not using these, so leave why them buried in the closet? Where else can you get a serious set of speakers for around a $100? Energy makes some excellent products. Grills available.
