Chances are if you're looking at this you're already familiar with these legendary speakers, which receive unanimous user accolades and comparable if not exceeding performance to speakers costing $5,000 to $10,000 today.I purchased these a handful of years ago from their original owner. Blonde Oak wood finish. Both grills are intact with name plates and no broken attachment pegs. These are full range speakers with specified frequency response down to 27 Hz from the Watkins 10-inch dual voice coil woofers and a nominal 4 ohm impedance. They require high quality, high current/amperage amplification. Factory specs suggest 75 to 400 watts, though I'd say best to start with at least 100-150 watts; they sound amazing driven by my vintage Threshold S/500 Stasis amp.
SET flea Watts need not apply, lol. They are functionally perfect and the only insignificant cosmetic note is the very common deteriorating foam on the rear diffusers which does not affect performance at all and is easily replaced. Then again, that's on the back of the speaker and I don't know anyone who listens from that position, lol; it's never bothered me. Conservatively rating them "8" (VG), but they are really a 9+. Asylum Trader only allows 6 pics with ad, but I have a several more of each speaker upon request. Local pick up only--with listening Demo/inspection--for these rare vintage beauties (sorry no shipping), though I am willing to discuss meeting anywhere inside a Charlotte to Richmond geographic area with a nominal deposit.
