Hello. This is a truly excellent value as a stock unit. The sound is pure analog. Smooth, open, airy and resolving. I have replaced all the capacitors with Nichicon KZ MUSE ones and the two non-polar ones with the Nichicon ES ones. The op-amps (3) were replace with National Semiconductor (now Texas Instruments) High Performance Hi Fidelity ones that are so much better and more resolving than the stock ones. They are in sockets so you can "Op-Amp Roll" to suit your taste. Two single channel ones and one two channel one. The difference in sound is that is much more involving, has wider and more accurate imaging, increased bass control and depth. I cannot believe the sound coming from this preamp every time I sit down to listen. If you purchased a Zphono and had these upgrades done, it would probably be somewhere between $100 and $150. You can see the second to the last image is the stock unit. No marks, scratches or dings. Looks brand new. It comes with the unused stock power cord and manual. I will box it up in a USPS Priority Mail large flat rate box at no charge to you. Let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to chat about it. I'm an electronics tech by trade and have repaired and upgraded hundreds of pieces of audio gear over the years for friends, myself and as investments. I only use the finest solder and soldering gear that is appropriate for the kind of circuits I'm working on. USPS Priority Mail is included at my asking price. Ed
