This is a legendary 1978 Fidelity Research FR-7 moving coil cartridge. It's headshell and cartridge all in one and just screws on to your SME type mount on a suitable tonearm. I used this on a Fidelity Research FR-64S and a Fidelity Research FR-24 Mk. II and it sounds great on both. The stylus is original, not a retip and has plenty of life left. It was checked out by Joseph Long. This has pure silver coils.There is a handwritten mark on the body of the cartridge, from whoever had it before me. It doesn't not affect functionality.
