Toshiba N-channel 2SK147 JFETs and complementary Toshiba P-channel 2SJ72 JFETs. These JFETs are prized because of their high forward transfer admittance (Yfs) and low noise. Some highly-lauded phono preamplifiers have utilized these semiconductors. Production ended many years ago and new old stock (NOS)semiconductors like these are vary scarce commodities. The JFETs were procured over three decades ago from Solid State Inc., Bloomberg, NJ (still in business after opening over 40 years ago). There are thirty (30) 2SK147s available as well as thirty (30) 2SJ72s. They are grade BL (blue). The designation BL stands for 8-16ma Idss (from data sheet). The case package is TO92L.
