1) Soundaware A1X - lesser known brand, but in high regard for the higher end digital-output-only streamers like their D300. This one has a bunch of options, some trickle-down from higher-end models, and very good sound. CS43198 DAC, FPGA processing, headphone output, Roon-ready and other services supported, SD card slot, and much more. My price: $425. (apologies for dust spots in pics!)

2) Elac DS-C101W-G - great Roon endpoint or use with other services/local music, with good sound from internal DAC or via digital out (2 sets of digital outputs, one analog). My price: $225

3) Blusound Node 2i - well-known brand, this one was used by my son, cosmetically several marks but functionally fine. Decent internal DAC but even better with external DAC. Also has subwoofer output. My price: $225.
