PRICE LOWERED!!!...back on market again from my DAC "Merry-Go-Round", the fabulous MHDT PAGODA. Included with it are these tubes....JAN 5670 (Upgraded from stock "G.E."), a JW 2C51/ Western Electric WE396a and an Amperex Bugle Boy 6DJ8/ECC88 with a high quality, gold pinned 5670 to 6DJ8/6922 adapter (a better one than picture #3), along with the owners manual. Also included is the driver disc which one rarely finds included in secondary sales as well as an ultra-rare MHDT labeled USB cable, of which I cannot find any information on it but seeing as MHDT does not include a power cord with their DACs, I assume then they certainly do not include a USB cable currently as well.
Unit is in excellent condition functionally and cosmetically and has been very limited in use. But make no mistake, the Pagoda is comparably an extremely serious contender (especially when rolling the 6DJ8/6922/7308 family of tubes...at least my observation) as my Merry-Go-Round accumulated five others before and after I acquired this one, namely a Timbre TT-1, T&A DAC 8 DSD (sold it), Lampi Amber 3SE, Line Magnetic LM-502C (sold it) and a MUSICAL PARADISE MP-D2 MK3 DELUXE. (Crazy, huh?...yea, but not as insane as my cable collection!) MSRP on all included totals at least $1790.00+, plus shipping the unit itself from Taiwan. And of course, no wait when ordering one from MHDT in taiwan. Additional Information: Any "active" item that I list for sale is thoroughly tested to pass clear signal/music via each and every input and output. For "passive" items such as cables, are tested with an audible continuity tester as well as a V.O.M. for any shorts. This testing happens prior to disconnection (for active gear) and once again before packing up. Also, please keep in mind that this unit only accepts UP TO 192Khz maximum digital input. It will NOT process a DSD signal, period! So, for example, if you have an Aurender streamer, you must set its maximium output to 192Khz, no higher or you will hear a garbled output. (Obviously common sense to me but apparently there are some elementary audiophools amongst us that have no clue as I have sadly learned)
