Please note also that this particular unit was ordered without the XLR inputs, so you will see that the space for these are covered. These can be added by Aqua if it is something you find necessary. I used RCA so I didn't need them.

This is the nicest R2R DAC I've heard. It's also NOS. It is the current version of this DAC. I compared this to a Holo Spring and a Soekris 2541, which are both less expensive DACS, for sure, but the difference really showed. The La Voce sounds organic, yet detailed. It's pretty refined. It comes with the original power cord, which is pretty thick and fancy.

I had the output caps changed to the great sounding VH Audio ODAM series V-Cap. The values were kept the same (3.3 uF). I thought the caps improved the DAC further: better bass, blacker backgrounds. It was a noticeable improvement, and I kept the VH Audio caps in the DAC. I still have the original caps, which are fine, and will be included in the sale. If you prefer having the original caps installed instead, and experience the DAC stock, that can be arranged.

This is a great DAC at any price, and it is very cost effective, but I got an offer on a much more expensive DAC/streamer that I couldn't pass up. I can't keep both.

I used this with a mac mini on USB and it worked perfectly. You are welcome to audition this DAC in Brooklyn. No returns though. Any questions, please ask.
