The Heart CD 600O is a CDP based on the Marantz 6000. The input low pass filter which used an opamp was replaced with a passive filter and step-up transformers. The line-stage opamps were upgraded to use 6922s and the muting opamps removed to improve the sound.
I replaced the original Sovtek 6922 with NOS Amperex 6922. I also removed the dedicated PC and installed an IEC. I have misplaced the remote mainly because I never used it. The volume control on the Heart CD 6000 is by-passed as is the mute function so the remote did not really serve any purpose -- muting was done through the preamp. In any case, I can control the unit with a universal remote. The unit came with the Marantz CD 6000 manual and this is included.
