Music Reference RM-10 (original version - 1994). Used but in excellent condition. Used sparingly as with all of my audio equipment. I do this to give my ears various perspectives, but equal joy!!. This amplifier has been babied since new and I acquired this unit from a great audiophile who needed a new home for a classic. Compared to other tube amplifiers in its class, its smaller footprint would make you think otherwise with respect to power and clarity, but don't be fooled. Just do your homework and read about the RM-10. There is a later version (MK II) with a few improved parts, but the heart of the RM-10 is still there and the music is glorious. With a pair of efficient speakers and you will not need but a few ticks on the volume to get your toes tapping. All original, no mods. Not a nick, scratch, defect or anything. The wood cabinet is in great shape and a really nice classic look. The RM-10 is a 6BQ5/EL 84 Amplifier capable of delivering 35 Watts per side. Perfect for a small to medium listening room, the RM-10 is a very effective amplifier with unparalleled sonics in its price range. This amp has received very good reviews in Audiophile Voice magazine. In a world where 17 watts from a pair of 6BQ5 was considered the limit, designer Roger A. Modjeski has endowed the RM-10 with 35 watts from the very same pair of tubes. More good news is found in the eco-friendly nature of the RM-10 which uses only 70 Watts of precious electricity at idle. You will not be disappointed. Please email for questions. Will be double-boxed, with custom foam which I put together specifically for this amplifier so that it arrives safely. Local-Pickup is Okay. Here are the specs from the web site:Power Output:
