For sale is a newly built Bottlehead Kaiju 300B amplifier with DC filament supply. I built it as a COVID project for a second system that didn’t materialize. It has been tested and measures to all required voltages specs. I’ve been building amps for the last 15 years. This kit went together easy and it needs to be used vs sitting around my house. The build is fully stock. The base was sanded to 1000k and finished with three coats of Tried-and-True Original Wood Finish. It’s currently wired for 4 Ohms but I’m happy to change it to 8 or 16 Ohms. The kit sells for $2209 with the DC filament supply. I’m asking $2200 for a fully built and tested amp. It includes the tubes that came with the kit, GE 5670 and EH 300B. I do have a pair of Mundorf Supreme SilverGold 0.1 uF caps that I can add or solder in for an additional $80. I will not ship this amp. I live in San Diego and I’m willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet you. Please email with any questions. Cash on pick up or Paypal for payment.
