I am selling my wonderful Pilot SA-232 tube power amp. It is a famous amplifier known for it's sweet tube sound - like most of the Pilot tube amps. It reputedly has one of the best transformers made. It is a EL 84 push pull design. I have Mullard reissue tubes as well as four extra EL 84's.
This amp is smooth and detailed and works very well with electrostatics, like Quads. It is very reliable and I have never had a moment's trouble with it. I have not seen many of these on the market lately; probably owners are just keeping them. I would too, but had to have some repairs done and need to thin the herd a bit.
