Yamaha audio collectors! A very rare pair of vintage Yamaha NS-330 (yeah, I know, the model #'s been re-used recently). Serial #'s 3091 & 3094. Wood veneered cabinets are approximately 36"W x 26"H x 14"D. I contacted Yamaha and the only information they could provide was they were manufactured between 1973-1975.Drivers: 2.5" Cone Tweeter, 6" Cone Midrange, and an 18.5" x 25" woofer that a Yamaha ad stated, "It looks and sounds like the sounding board of a grand piano. Sound is produced with a bending motion rather than the piston action of conventional cone-type speakers...And it is omni-directional sound rather than tunnelized sound." The tweeter has an adjuster knob on the rear panel: "Normal, 1, and 2" positions. Functionally excellent. Cosmetically very good. While the veneer is fine, there are some discolorations (mainly on the top surfaces) and defects like scratches and dents but nothing catastrophic. Will box very carefully for shipping which will be expensive due to size and weight and may need to be shipped freight. Of course pick-up in north Florida is fine. I'd be willing to drive up to Atlanta or equivalent distance for fuel costs. If shipped, buyer pays only for actual shipping and insurance is required. I'm hoping that a Yamaha collector will add these to his/her collection. They deserve a good home. I've never seen another pair up for sale. I've owned about 10 years. Thanks for looking!
