For Sale: Custom-built dual mono s/s m/m phono preamp, excellent as new condition, 45db gain, 47k inputs, was designed specifically for M/C step-up transformers and high-end m/m cartridges. Based on a very pure, tried and true SK170 transistor circuit, with specifically chosen premium components through-out. The two, individual, dual-mono regulated power supplies use low noise Schottky rectification, Elna SilmicII/Nichicon caps, Mill MRA12 resistors, have a very high-speed and dynamic total cap storage capacity of 190,000uf, making transient response immediate. All resistors are precision Takman Rex carbon film, RIAA circuit caps are superb Multicap RTX 600v polystyrene,signal caps are Audyn True Copper foil caps and Mundorf EVO oils. All e-caps are musical Elna Silmic II. RCA termination are Cardas GRFA Rhodium over silver RCA's.
The Chassis used is a very high quality, extra-thick aluminum chassis. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS NOT A CELLO PHONO PREAMP......I simply purchased this high-quality chassis online because it was the most well-made and thickest totally-machined aluminum chassis I could find.
The sound of this phono preamp is very natural, rich and full in sound, yet very fast and detailed. There are only two of these phono preamps on this planet, this phono preamp, and my identical phono preamp I am now using in my custom audio system.
