To our knowledge, this is the first and only AC receptacle to use pure solid copper in its construction (not brass or bronze), resulting in the highest conductivity of any AC receptacle on the market. Also, its unique tension springs mean these recepatcles won't scrape away the expensive platings on your male connectors! Based on my listening tests, this is my new reference for an AC Receptacle.
