I parted out a working Dual 1249 turntable because it had some frustrating issues with automatic operation, and a number of usable parts are now in need of a good home. Many of these can be used on other Dual models. Before I dismantled it, the turntable worked fine manually (I just got tired of messing with finicky adjustments), so I have no reason to think that any of these parts are faulty. Here is a sampling of the parts that I have, with a few part numbers pulled from the Vinyl Engine service manual: Tonearm (236 903) with counterweight (236 904) and anti-skating mechanism, tonearm rest (236 911), one-piece platter with rubber mat (some 1249 models have a two-piece platter), single-play spindle (SOLD), speed control strobe lamp with circuit board and housing (SOLD), muting switch (232 987) with metal shield (and original interconnect cable), cueing lever, power switch (233 008) with plastic housing, knobs, levers, linkage, top plate, etc. The base, dust cover, headshell, cartridge and SM860-1 motor are already sold. Feel free to contact me if you need anything you see in the pictures. I don't expect eBay prices for these parts, I just want to see them put to good use.
Keep in mind that it costs as much to ship a few parts as it does to ship one.
