I’m selling my Nottingham Spacedeck, I've owned this for many years. By far one of the best sounding turntables I've owned and one that got me off the upgrading merry go round for a long time. It's a high mass/inertia design that adds some "meat" or foundation to the music. I think the first two reviews that come up on Google are pretty accurate of what it sounds like. The background is also dead black.Condition is excellent. Included with the sale: Spacedeck turntable with base, belt, separate motor
Ace Space tonearm (has interconnect hard wired which is pretty long)
Original packing materials
Manual
Nottingham foam mat
Nottingham dust cover (these are plastic that sit on the platter) Sound-Smith Otello cartridge that has fewer than 50 hours. The first one I owned that had more hours started to ride a bit too low for my taste so Peter quickly swapped it out with the one currently on the tonearm. I will forward interested buyers these emails. I strongly prefer to sell the turntable with the cartridge and I’ll give buyers that want the whole thing first priority. The SS is a great sounding cartridge. Shipping is not an issue since the packing material is incredibly well laid out with the turntable disassembling into pieces and a separate box for the tonearm. Local pickup is also fine, I'm in NH and I am often in Boston and CT for conferences. $1780 plus shipping/Paypal with the Sound-Smith cartridge.
