This Serac comes with many upgrades (not reflected in the "original price"), described below.- Upgraded motor/controller. Added in 2014, at the time a $1,400 upgrade. Includes the Tenma power supply, which most Galibier owners prefer over the old rechargeable battery supply. - Stelvio high mass armboard. I believe this was a $500 upgrade (but was part of the package when I purchased the table). Pre-drilled for my Siggwan and a previous arm - contact me for details. - Kapton belt. The Kapton belt is non-fussy, sounds better than spliced mylar belts (to my ears), and should outlast the next few owners... - Gavia motor pod. Thom was nice enough to include an upgraded motor pod with the table when I bought it at no extra cost because there were no stock Serac pods on hand. Except for some scratches on the aluminum top plates of the motor controller and armboard, everything is in wonderful shape. Please note that high mass tables like this will require some patience to set up, but once running the Serac requires essentially no maintenance.
