I am selling a number of parts from my TEAC A-2340SX parts machine. Many are used in other 7 and 10 inch TEAC decks of the same vintage, so download the Hi Fi Engine service manuals for your deck and the A-2340SX to see if parts are interchangeable. Parts compatibility is up to you to determine. I got this machine as a parts donor and I don't know what fault brought about its demise, so parts are being sold as-is and untested.A few parts have already been sold or used on my own TEAC decks, and I am offering the rest for sale to someone who needs them. The heads and head cover, two meters, feet and side panels, reel tables & hub spindles, and the lower front face plate are gone; but plenty of other parts are still available. I also have a few 7-inch plastic take-up reels that I will sell for $7 each. I have all three motors, the upper front face plate, lower rear plate and hinges, power transformer (P/N 51520860, for US and Canada), capstan flywheel, tape counter, remote connector bypass plug, most knobs, pots (two P/N 51501170 doubles & four P/N 50535240 singles) and switches, two meters (P/N 50581380, both test fine) and the solenoid control block. Please note that I have a lot of parts available, and my "$20" posted price is just a place-holder ... NOT the price for everything in this ad. I am asking $50 for each motor, or $100 for all three (plus shipping). That is less than what you would pay online for just one motor. I will mark them to identify that they are the actual motors that you purchased. Unless noted above, if you see it in the photos it is still for sale. All circuit boards are available, and there might be some hard-to-find parts that can be salvaged; but keep in mind that since the deck was a non-working donor machine, I can't guarantee that every electronic component is working correctly.
