Up for sale is my Krell Resolution Subwoofer. This sub has seen light use and has always been in my dedicated theater in a pet free / smoke free home. There are not any marks on this piece anywhere. I have all of the original packing material,and original box. It was purchased brand new from my local authorized Krell . I rated it a 9/10 ,looks great. There is not a mark on this sub. Both sets of feet are included and the power cord. Shipping is to be determined, to the US only. Local pickup is fine. The Res Sub has both single ended and balanced inputs / outputs. Specs are below but all you really need to know is that the 700 watt internal Krell built amplifier effortlessly moves the 15" driver. Bass is clean & tight and of course deep when it needs to be. Very few subs on the market look like a high end piece of furniture. The Res sub does though with a beautiful curved cabinet and cherry finish. From Krell: The Resolution Subwoofer delivers large amounts of sustained low frequency information without reservation. Excellent cabinet construction, robust driver selection and 700 watts of genuine Krell amplification combine to offer the huge output, speed and resolution necessary for the ultimate home theater or music system experience. The Resolution Subwoofer features a one-inch MDF enclosure with 2-inch thick front and rear baffles. The sealed box design promotes clean, accurate bass. A separate control cavity completely isolates electronics package from the driver. The single 15-inch driver has a very stiff, reinforced polypropylene cone. Peak to Peak linear travel is 1-3/8-inch, and the voice coil is extra long. Motor geometry features a focused magnetic field that promotes control and lowers distortion. The 700 watt Krell Current Mode power amplifier is a Class AB design featuring a 1000 watt transformer and 55,000 microfarads of filter capacitance. Class AB amplification provides power quickly and sustains power indefinitely, thereby providing complete control of the driver under the most demanding conditions.
