Freshly painted pair of Gedlee Abbeys available. I have not used them in a while and moved to storage. These are fabulous speakers. All you need is to add 18" stand and integrate with subwoofer. I can ship by Fedex (with their improved packaging/use of insta-pack) but prefer local pick up or door to door shipping from freight shipment companies (uship.com)Selling my main speaker gear- Tweaked Gedlee Abbey (the speaker box got additional internal bracing/insulation) and crossover in an external box. I paid over $2K to make speaker cabinet more stiff and cross-overs in separate box with hardwired speaker cable- you can change that. This can be a DIYer's delight since you can refinish them and also tweak crossover component or cables to your liking. I would rate 7/10 from build/finish perspective. (Bottom of speakers and crossover boxes have scratches and you can fix them up if you want. I did not care about it since crossover box was not that visible anyways.)
These speakers have been eye opening (or should I say ear opening?) around Earl Geddes's speaker/audio principles on constant directivity and use of waveguides.
These speakers will ship by freight. Paypal + 3.1%.
