This is a superb sounding satellite speaker finished in piano black lacquer.
The manufacturer / designer describes it as a full range AMT Ribbon speaker.
In actuality it is not exactly full range but damned close. They have great bass for a speaker of their size.A huge 5 x 1.5 inch AMT driver goes from 1400hz through to 40khz.
A super fast carbon fiber bass driver is blended in beginning at 1300hz. I use its big brother 300 as by main reference speaker. I had hoped of building a second smaller system around a flat screen for a tv room, but it just never materialized.
Now I just need to liquidate and call it a day. The speakers and matching pedestals are in excellent condition. The black lacquer is as perfect as the day I received them.
They come with great packaging all in double-box enclosures.
These speakers as well as their big brother 300's have been very well reviewed by me and others.
I still use the big 300's as my reference speaker.
