In fact Russel Sherwood has designed broadcast studios for the Sirius satellite company, for Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, few radio stations as well as live venues, and recording studios. These speakers obliterated Wilson Watt Puppies despite only being two way monitors. Amazing dynamics and low end extension. Sound like floorstanders with pin point imaging and very wide sweet spot and depth. Once you hear the transparency of these there is no going back. These are special edition version with Cardas wiring inside, with upgraded mid range driver, upgraded parts in the crossovers, and Cardas bi-wire pure copper speaker posts. The designer had built these for himself as a reference tool, but I convinced him to sell these to me, so the price was almost double of the regular production set. Also I was able to purchase the grills, which were $200 extra. I ve used them for couple of years in my seldom used bedroom system as I have few sets speakers., so very little wear and tear. Need funds for other project, otherwise would never let these go.... These almost NEVER appear on the second hand market!Please note there are 2 superficial scratches on the back of one of the speakers that can be touched up... In no way that effects their performance, or appearance when looked from the front & sides, so speakers are in the excellent shape. I have their factory box (albeit its not of the best quality) and will pack them securely. Speakers are VERY well made with piano grade wood, and are about 25-30 pounds each.
